Thank you and Goodbye!
Dear Photography and Videography Fans,
I began my journey as a wedding photographer and videographer in 2012 as a hobby. It quickly turned into an obsession to be the best creator I could be, thanks to the mentorship of Vijay Rakhra and the late Sam Hassas. They gave me, a non-experienced hobbyist, the chance to learn and explore the world of photography. Under their guidance, I developed my own style and approach, always aiming to deliver consistency, happiness, and forever moments.
Fast forward 10 years, my life changed when I became a parent to my first daughter. At that time, I had scaled from shooting 10 weddings a year to 52, which felt like a significant achievement. However, balancing my day job, photography job, and being a dad proved to be challenging. As a result, I decided to prioritize my time and love for my daughter, making the difficult decision to retire from professional photography.
Initially, I gradually phased out my photography work but continued with other gigs such as event coverage and real estate photography. However, with the demands of being a dad and the impact of the pandemic, I eventually decided to retire from professional photography altogether. Nonetheless, I still enjoy capturing moments as a pro soccer dad photographer.
Looking back at all the work I've done and the memories I've captured, I'm proud of the journey I've had in the photography world. As this is my last post on this blog, I want to express my gratitude to all my supporters, fans, clients, colleagues, and family who have been part of the ChriZ Videography brand over the years. I will forever cherish the memories and the accomplishments we've shared. If you still need your edits, feel free to email me as I have them accessible on my cloud storage account. Thank you!
With Love,
ChriZ
